Advantage was named a finalist in three categories for the 2018 Cynopsis Digital Model D Awards for its work with Hyundai Motor America. The 2018 NFL “Rolling With The Rookies – Season 2” campaign was named a finalist in the “Best Branded Sports Web Series” and “Best Multiplatform Marketing Campaign: Broadcast and/or Cable TV or Web Series” categories. “The Sonata Surprise with Connor Williams” was a segment as part of the RWTR campaign which was named a finalist in the “Best Branded Web Video” category. Advantage developed, produced & distributed the second season of “Rolling with the Rookies” as the content component of a fully integrated campaign that included experiential and a full communication strategy. The series profiled four rookies – Derrius Guice, Josh Allen, Minkah Fitzpatrick and Connor Williams – leading up to the 2018 NFL Draft. Advantage approached the 2018 campaign with the goal of featuring four projected first-round picks, from diverse backgrounds, as they returned home for a final moment of calm. Beyond the traditional stats and Combine results that define a rookie class, “Rolling with the Rookies” is a celebration of the people, places and experiences that forged each athlete. The first season of the campaign, in 2017, was previously honored as a winner of “Best Multiplatform Marketing Campaign: Web Series” at the 2017 Cynopsis Model D Awards.
In addition, Cynopsis Digital has named Jared Blitz, Creative Director at Advantage, as a 2018 “It List” honoree. The Digital “It List” identifies innovative minds in digital media who excel in video content, marketing, advertising, and social media. As Creative Director at Advantage, Jared brings deep experience in video content and social influencer marketing. Jared, based out of Advantage’s Los Angeles office, led creative direction for the aforementioned “Rolling with the Rookies” campaign and was recently recognized as “Agency Person of the Year” by ThinkLA.
