Hyundai – Create Your Moment

The Conferences for Women is a national organization whose goals are to promote, communicate, and amplify the influence of women in the workplace and beyond. They bring together thousands of active professionals to connect, recharge and find inspiration. Through a multi-event sponsorship, Hyundai wanted to support this community and give something back to both the women and the women-run businesses carrying us into the future while raising awareness for several of their new SUV and sedan offerings.
While Hyundai makes dependable vehicles with next-level features perfect for working women, this activation needed to be about the women themselves first and foremost, and about providing a moment of joy, relaxation, and inspiration for a group of people who share Hyundai’s values of always striving for better.
At the Massachusetts Conference for Women we partnered with the women-owned Perfume and Cologne Bar to launch the Hyundai “Create Your Moment” Scent Bar. Attendees could take a break from the packed conference schedule to visit the bar, grab a complimentary cup of coffee and create their own custom fragrance!
With main scent themes like Empower, Relax, Inspire, and Energize, along with a menu of add-your-own fragrance notes, we developed a system so that visiting women could tailor their scent to their lived experience – a true opportunity to “create the moment”  they need most.
We had Hyundai’s new Sonata and Palisade displayed for guests to check out while relaxing, and our trained brand ambassadors were there to answer questions and create a supportive atmosphere.
The event was a rousing success, resulting in 735 hand-raisers for interest in Hyundai (opted in for brand/product information), and 36 qualified dealer leads. On top of that, 97.6% of the people surveyed had a positive opinion of the brand after the experience, and 93.7% said they would “definitely” consider purchasing a Hyundai for their next car.
Of course, the true measure of success at a give-back event like this is how excited and enthused the women were to engage – and almost 1,000 women took home custom, personalized fragrances, courtesy of Hyundai.
