Advantage International Rebrands Heading into 2017

Plans for continued growth at 5-year anniversary

Norwalk, CT (January 9, 2017) – Advantage International, an IPG company, announces its corporate name change to simply “Advantage” and will be introducing a number of changes in early 2017, including:
  • Creation of four service verticals underneath the Advantage brand: Sponsorship Consulting, EXP, The Event Studio and Creative & Content
  • A new agency positioning of “We Make Brands Happen” which runs across the Advantage brand and service verticals
“The creation of our four service verticals isn’t a transformation of our business model, just a way to better define what we do for our clients everyday and represent the competencies we’ve built over five years,” said Tom Haidinger, President of Advantage.
“While the name Advantage International has deep roots in the sponsorship industry, we’re looking to modernize and simplify the brand,” said Jaime Cabrera, SVP, Executive Creative Director. “We are really excited about the new mantra of ‘We Make Brands Happen’ and feel it captures our spirit as an agency on the move.”
Since its inception five years ago, the agency has grown its annual revenue by 137% and has worked for brand clients in automotive, appliances, banking, beverages, cosmetics, CPG, electronics, energy solutions, healthcare, mobile, QSR and technology. The work on behalf of clients has resulted in four Ex Awards, five years on the Event Marketer IT List, two years on the PROMO Top Shops list and the “Best Legacy of Change” award by the Super Bowl 50 Host Committee.
